ZIL-131 KShM- Soviet Army Vehicle, ICM 35517, 1:35
The ZiL-131 was the main all-road Soviet Army truck of the 1970s and '80s. Its serial production was launched in 1967. This truck featured high reliability and all-road abilities, and its basic model was used mainly as a personnel transport or 5-t cargo truck.
Such trucks were supplied to the Warsaw Pact countries and also to many countries in Asia and Africa. About one million of these trucks were produced by the ZiL plant between 1967 and 1990. The improved model, the ZiL-131N, was produced beginning in 1986 and production was later moved to the Ural Automotive Plant.
