The publication British Armour Evolution (Tankograd 9005) already described in detail the development of British Army armour since the Cold War. The ongoing British Army involvement in Iraq, however, made it necessary to introduce even more modern armour protection for the crews of wheeled and tracked vehicles. In this publication the newest British armour generation, from main battle tank to up-armoured tank transporter, is described for the very first time in unprecedented detail and with hitherto unpublished new photographs.
