FAHRZEUG Profile 63: UNIMOG in der Bundeswehr - Peter Blume
The most famous light trucks of the new German Army came from Daimler-Benz and was designated as UNIMOG. Right from the beginning of the build up of the forces in 1954/55 a large number of these 1,5 ton trucks was obtained. Within the period 1955 until 1972 more then 25.000 various examples of this type were built by Daimler-Benz. This profile describes the first and second generation of this famous truck type in the German forces.
