The fifth and final volume of the series "campaign" about the equipment of the German soldier in the First World War deals with the last year of the war. As with the previous volumes, the exhibits will be shown in full detail on the basis of brilliant, large format photos and explained in detail in the text.
Amongst others, very rare equipment of the aviation troops, various objects of late war production such as sapphire and frontal armor and a copy of the world's first mass-produced submachine gun are presented. In addition, the book shows numerous helmets with the camouflage paints of 1918 and pieces that were captured by allied soldiers and taken as a souvenir.
An equally informative and beautiful book that makes the heart of every collector and every lover of imperial militaria beat faster!
